(broadcast SBS 2000 and 2002)

Troubled: A Personal Look At Northern Ireland, broadcast twice on SBS Television, was Richard’s first foray into filmmaking. Working alone and travelling at his own expense, Richard spent 5 weeks in Northern Ireland venturing into Republican and Loyalist strongholds, interviewing a range of people about their experiences of The Troubles. This one-hour program may not answer questions, but it provides an insight into the confusing and emotional world that is Northern Ireland. |
